SEA GAMES 32: VALORANT VIỆT NAM GIÀNH HUY CHƯƠNG ĐỒNG, INDONESIA BỎ THI ĐẤU TRẬN CHUNG KẾT

VALORANT là bộ môn Thể thao điện tử mới góp mặt tại SEA Games 32 được Cambodia đăng cai tổ chức. Đây cũng là bộ môn gây tranh cãi nhất khi kết thúc với 2 huy chương vàng cho cả hai đội Indonesia và Singapore. Trong trận chung kết tranh huy chương Vàng VALORANT tại SEA Games 2023, đội tuyển Indonesia đã quyết định không thi đấu do phía Singapore lạm dụng bug game. Theo đó, đội tuyển VALORANT Indonesia chấp nhận huy chương Bạc để bảo vệ danh dự quốc gia.

Vòng chung kết của bộ môn VALORANT tại SEA Games 32 diễn ra với sức nóng khủng khiếp như đủ sức đốt cháy Olympia Mall, Cambodia. Tuy nhiên kết quả chung cuộc cũng đầy bất ngờ khi 2 đội vào chung kết là Indonesia và Singapore đồng huy chương vàng còn Việt Nam và Philippines cùng giành huy chương đồng và không có huy chương bạc. Đặc biệt đáng nói là sự tranh cãi về việc sử dụng bug, dẫn đến việc đội tuyển Indonesia bỏ luôn giải đấu nhưng lại giành huy chương vàng.

Nguyên nhân khác khiến đội tuyển Indonesia bỏ lỡ trận chung kết tranh huy chương vàng với Singapore cũng là vì đội tuyển Indonesia bất ngờ phát hiện ra đối thủ sử dụng bug game tại vòng thi đấu 15 bản đồ Split và trận chung kết bị tạm hoãn vô thời hạn. Trưởng đoàn thể thao điện tử của 2 bên đã xảy ra tranh cãi kịch liệt tại thời điểm xảy ra bug, thậm chí cả đoàn Indonesia đã phải chờ đợi ở khu vực thi đấu suốt đêm để chờ giải quyết. Thế nhưng ban tổ chức SEA Games 32 khi xem xét vụ việc đã đưa ra quyết định thi đấu trở lại trận chung kết vào lúc 5h ngày 11/5/2023 và cho biết “Việc sử dụng bug game là một hành vi phạm lỗi không quá nghiêm trọng và việc xử phạt Singapore là không cần thiết”. Quá thất vọng và mệt mỏi trước quyết định của ban tổ chức, đội tuyển VALORANT Indonesia đã quyết định không thi đấu.

Bug game này là khi camera của đặc vụ Cypher được sử dụng để nhìn thẳng sang khu vực Attackers Spawn. Dựa vào camera này thì đội Phòng thủ sẽ biết đội Tấn công di chuyển theo đường nào. Lỗi camera này đã xuất hiện trong VALORANT từ rất lâu, trước khi bản đồ Split được làm lại. Trước trận đấu, phía Indonesia có gửi các góc cam Cypher để BTC kiểm tra và trong số đó có 2 góc cam bị cấm. Theo đó, Indonesia đã báo cáo lên ban tổ chức khi phát hiện Singapore lạm dụng bug game nhưng bất thành.

Ngoài ra, đội tuyển Valorant Việt Nam mặc dù để thất bại 2-0 trước Philippines, về đích hạng 4 nội dung VALORANT nhưng BTC vẫn trao tặng tấm Huy chương Đồng cho đội tuyển quốc gia của chúng ta ở SEA Games 32 lần này.
